Once again I am excited to share my findings regarding the Fear of the LORD! This morning’s sermon is titled “The Fear of the LORD is the Beginning of Knowledge and Wisdom” We will be examining the Scripture from Proverbs 1:7 and 9:10. I hope you will find the starting point for all real truth, knowledge, and wisdom is the reverential fear of the LORD, the only true Sovereign, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent! We will first review what the fear of the LORD means. Second, we will discover what the Scriptures teach regarding the truth statement that “The beginning of knowledge is the reverential fear of the LORD. The closing point will describe what the beginning of wisdom is the reverential fear of the LORD means. I have included the sermon note sheets and two handouts with important quotes by two awesome scientists who changed the world with their discoveries of God’s Creation!
