The Church at Sardis- Awake Sleeper!

This morning we continue to listen of our Christ and King as we desire to learn from Him how we can overwhelmingly conquer the devil through Him!  As we examine the seven churches of Revelation chapters two and three we are gleaning valuable information to build our faith so we may the wonderful words, “well done good and faithful servant!” 

This morning we will listen to the Master as we learn of the challenges and call to the church at Sardis.  In so doing, we will discover another set of truths to help us examine ourselves so we be equipped to purge the evil and possess the good that is necessary to enter into our eternal rest victorious!  The first focal point will be to understand the nature of deeds being manifest by the those in the church at Sardis.  It seems they were very busy but their deeds were “not complete” according to Jesus.  They were lacking several critical essentials.  The second point in my lesson is titled “Wake up!”  Jesus instructs those in the Sardis fellowship with specific things they must begin to do in order to be prepared for His coming for them.  Finally, we will listen to our LORD as He calls those in the Sardis church and to us also to victory and reward
