The Blessings for Those Trusting in the LORD

I am excited to share some of the many blessings that God has promised to those who trust Him completely with every facet of their lives.  As I have shared in the first two sermons of 2022, all rock solid, close, trusting relationships must begin with our complete and total trust in the LORD and His word.  As we put our trust and faith in Him for everything in our lives we become men and women of integrity, possessing and manifesting the glorious character of Christ Jesus.  As such, we become trustworthy in the eyes of others and all of our relationships are then built on trust, for like the Lord Jesus, we prove to be the same yesterday, today, and always.   

This morning’s sermon is titled, “The Blessings for Those Trusting in the LORD!”  Examining the analogy of a strong, resilient, flourishing tree to a man who trusts in the LORD as found in Jeremiah 17:7-8, we will find out what this analogy really means for us who put our faith and trust in the LORD.  Our lives will be firmly rooted in Christ Jesus through the indwelling presence of His Spirit.  We will become unshakeable members of the unshakeable Kingdom of God.  If we genuinely trust in the LORD, our worries and fears will melt away as we continue to see His promises of protection, provision, and leadership consistently demonstrated in our lives.  Finally, we will see how His promise of continual growth and fruitfulness will take place in our lives as we trust in Him and His word.  Please find the sermon note sheet attached with this email.
