As we come near to the close of the 2022 we also come near to the end of our series on how to build trust within the body of Christ.  Trust relationships with the brethren is becoming more and more critical as we watch our culture quickly falling into total darkness and depravity!  We must be united in the faith and Spirit of Christ!  Jesus as a man was able to live a life of perfect integrity because of the indwelling Spirit of God and absolute faith in His Father and His word.  People from every walk and station of life trusted Jesus because He walked by faith in the Spirit!

Brethren, we must do the same.  The title of this morning’s sermon is “Unity in One Faith and Baptism Builds Trust!”  This sermon is a pointed review of what many of us already know.  There is only one faith and one baptism that is recognized by the Creator of all things both visible and invisible!  Any other faith or baptism leads to distrust, discord, and ultimate destruction of the individual and the fellowship of the local congregation.  Brethren we must believe and embrace the Scriptures as Christ did, possess the faith of Christ, and be immersed in His name for the biblical reasons as clearly spoken in the bible.  God knows each and every heart.  Many profess the supposed one true faith and baptism but the LORD judges according to the standard of His Word and not the many denominational creed books, confessions, and man-made philosophies!  Please join us with an open mind and heart with a willingness to yield to the truth of God’s word.  In so doing you will grow in Christ- like integrity and build the much needed trust within the body of Christ.
