The Power of Perseverance – Our Assurance, The Faith Of Christ

Today we continue exploring the vital nature of possessing the “Faith of Christ” to build a strong biblical foundation for our Perseverance!  We examined the conviction of Christ’s faith last week with illustrations from His life, the Apostle Paul’s life, and an important illustration for our life of faithful conviction!  This morning we will spend a little extra time looking at and defining the many facets belonging to the “Assurance” of Christ’s faith.  The assurance we see in His Christ’s faith is the exact same assurance we are to manifest in our lives of faithfulness!  To manifest the absolute resolve we see in Christ we need to possess the full assurance or confidence that drove Jesus to, through, and past the cross to the throne in His resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God the Father!  We will also compare mirror image verses of Christ’s trust in His Father in the times of extreme suffering and persecution and our trust in Him during times of persecution and suffering.  We will conclude with the promises of God for those who will remain faithful, fully assured of His provision now and into eternity!
