In His Presence- “Make known…the Path of Life!”

Text:Psalm 16:11 and Psalm 25:1-5

Introduction: You would not have believed me if I told you that these protests, riots, and looting has been planned for decades. It is what is called an “Organic Revolution” but it is not so organic. It is a well thought out plan to destroy the Judeo-Christian culture we still enjoy.

Truth: “There is a way which seems right to a man” Prov. 16:25

Truth:“I am the way…” Jesus is the only way. John 14:6Truth:We are seated with Him in the heavenly places. Eph. 2:6

Point 1: “Make Me Know Your Way, O Lord…”

To know the Way, is to be shown the Way, with Him.

Psalm 25:4-5 NASB, “make known to me…”

KJV,“shew me Thy ways O Lord, teach me...”

To know by observation or seeing.
To teach by showing how it is done
To guide by way of good example.

What is your hearts desire?__
- A relationship with and in the world?
- A relationship with and in the Christ?
- One is Death and the other is Life

“Make me know, Show me” Your way O Lord?
- Do you really desire to know His ways?
- What are His ways? Peace, joy, kindness?

Teach me Your paths?_
- Are you teachable? Do you listen?
- Do you sit at Christ’s feet each morning?

Lead me in your Truth?_
- Are you leadable? Do you follow Christ?
- Are you stubborn and self-willed, unwilling to read, listen, and follow His word?

Is He the God of your salvation?
“Self is the most deceitful of all idols.
Have you humbled yourself before God?

Point 2: “Let Us Run with Endurance the Race …”

To run with endurance? Keep your focus on the goal.
Hebrews 12:1-3

“Therefore…”is a powerful word. The cloud of witnesses are all the faithful souls mentioned in chapter 10, who were more than conquers by Faith!

It is amazing to note that these faithful men and women accomplished amazing things without the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit! Hebrews 11:32-40

“Let Us Also…” follow their example empowered by God’s Spirit!
- Lay aside the encumberances…
  - Desires of this world-$$, Toys
  - Lust, passions, and distractions
- Lay aside the sin which so easily entangles
  - Use the “Repentance Process”
  - Identify evil and replace with good!
- “And Let Us…”
  - Run with endurance…
    - Spiritual weight training
    - Grow your faith(Read & Apply)
  - Fix your eyes on Jesus…
    - Study Christ’s character qualities
    - Manifest His glorious character
  - “Consider Him…”_________________________
    - Who has endured hostility by sinners
    - “So that…” you will not grow weary and lose heart in your striving against sin.
