The title of my sermon today is  “How do I Trust Him?–Know, Believe and Trust!”  This morning we will examine the relationship between knowing, believing and trusting in the LORD Jesus Christ for all things in our life.  Paul, of course, will be our case study example.  As Paul waits on death row in a Roman prison cell in the city of Rome he writes his last letter encouraging his son in the faith Timothy to come to him.  in the opening of this letter he speaks of his knowledge, faith and trust in Christ to deliver him into heaven.  Such confidence, such joy, such excitement for what his eternal future holds.  How did Paul have so much trust?  During this morning’s lesson we will define knowledge, faith, and trust, Paul possessed.  Then we will look to Paul’s life lived with a transcendent faith and trust expressed in the joyful expectation of the eternal reward of being with Christ forever!
