FERVENTLY LOVE FROM A PURE HEART

Text:1 Timothy 1:5 and 1 Peter 1:22-23
Introduction:
Sincere, genuine pure love is the strongest human force on earth. It can change a life, it has changed the world! Satan is a dealer in hate, hypocrisy and destruction. Jesus Christ is the one who love genuinely unto eternal life.
Point 1: Fervently Love…
- Love for the brethren needs to be intensely intentional!
- Fervently(1619) “Ekrenos” intently, without ceasing, reaching out earnestly “vehemently” intense.
- Love (5360) “Philadelphia”fraternal affection, brotherly love (Kindness) Tender affection
Point 2: One Another…
- We are commanded to show preferential love for brethren!
- John 13:34-35 We are to love one another as Jesus has loved us. We are to sacrifice for the brethren John 15:12-13
- 1 John 3:16-18 Love of the brethren needs to be practical. Kindness is helpful
Point 3: From a Pure Heart!
- Our heart motives for love of the brethren must be pure!
- Pure(2513) “Kathros”Clean, clear, pure. Free from every admixture that is false or corrupt.
- Matthew 5:8 Pure heart all four chambers mind, emotion, motives, conscience need to be pure. Our motive to love should be because you want to, love because it is the right thing to do.
Conclusions:If our love for the brethren intentional, consistent and intense?
