This morning we begin with a sermon titled, “Entrusting Our Souls to the Faithful Creator!”  We will introduce this transitional lesson by reviewing Paul’s great encouragement in 2 Corinthians 1:8-11 regarding not trusting ourselves but God who raises the dead!  The first point of the lesson will be to examine how Jesus endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of God by continually entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously.  The second point will focus on our like response during difficult times and extreme persecution.  We must not be surprised but rather rejoice, embrace the blessing, not being ashamed, as we also, like Jesus, entrust our souls to our faithful Creator, as we continue to do what is right according to His word!
