Introduction: As a man thinks within himself so he is! To think wrongly or dishonestly is death. To think rightly about yourself is life and peace. Are you a “Real” Christian according to the Scriptural standard? If so, you are Light in the Lord!
Point 1: A Stream Can Rise No Higher than Its Source!
- Jesus Christ is the source of our Life and Light!
- Isaiah 9:1-2 Jesus is the great light that would be seen by those sitting in darkness
- Isaiah 42:6-9 Jesus established the New Covenant and is the light of the world and the light of all peoples.
- Isaiah 49:6 Jesus is the light to all the nations both Jews and Gentiles
