Power to Persevere from Hope Unseen

Today we will examine why our Hope in God and His merciful provision and promise secured through the sacrifice of Christ is one of the three sources of power to persevere during times of great trial, tribulation, and persecution.  As we read and consider what the Apostle Paul wrote to the Christians in the cities of Colossae and Rome we learn of the importance of God’s provision and promise and our understanding and response to them in growing our hope.  A correct understanding of hope in the LORD’s provision and promise will drive us to remain strong, steadfast, faithful, enduring, and unmoved with perseverance during times of trial and persecution!   In fact, this hope will produce a confidence, excitement, and a deep pleasure now in this present life as we look to the fulfillment of His promise of reward !
