Oregon Family Camp 2021

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, knowing the times, and understanding what the church must do… “you have need of perseverance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised!” Just as the Lord was looking to His resurrection and ascension into heaven and set His face like flint to go to Jerusalem, so we, too, must embrace the challenges ahead and suffer for His name to receive the prize of the upward call. He understood it was His time, and He knew what must be done…so we, too, must be resolved to set our face like flint and persevere!

Each year I spend time during the summer and the autumn considering the needs of the brethren both here and afar to help continue to build spiritual momentum. This year’s Oregon Family Camp will only begin to address some of the many important facets of perseverance. The anchor verses for 2021 are Hebrews 10:36 and Revelation 14:12. Each verse and its context communicates our need to persevere despite what seems to be coming upon on all mankind and especially the church of Jesus Christ.
