Oregon Family Camp 2020

Friday February 21-Sunday February 23rd

The writer of Hebrews encourages us to, “run with endurance the race that is set before us.” Brethren the Christian life is a  marathon! We must gain and maintain momentum in this life to finish strong and help others to do the same! In order to do this I have decided to focus our minds on specific Scriptural themes that will aid us in this great race! In 2018 our theme was The Law of Momentum...”The Power Of Positive!” with the anchor verse taken from Hebrews 10:24-25. Last year the theme was the 2nd Law of Momentum...”The Power Of Sincerity!” based on the passages 1 Timothy 1:5 and Romans 12:8. Foe 2020 the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ’s annual theme will be taken from Psalm 16:11 and Acts 3:19.

The 3rd Law of Momentum...”The Power Of Presence!”

Understanding that the mystery which is Christ in you, His indwelling presence, empowers us to introduce Christ to all those around us through His glory which is His magnificent character is the goal for this year. So, The Power Of our presence in the lives of those we live and work with each day is the power to change their lives!

Leading others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and build up brethren through the magnifies this character of Christ, which comes from His indwelling presence, is our calling in Christ Jesus!

My prayer is, as you participate in this years Oregon Family Camp, you will grow in your understanding of the power of His presence intentionally being present in the lives of others, introducing them to Christ through His manifest character in your words and deeds.
